The following is a company announcement issued by AST Group p.l.c. (the “Company”) bearing company registration number C 66811, in terms of the Capital Markets Rules issued by the MFSA.
CHANGE IN DIRECTOR

The Company announces that, with effect from 22 May 2026, Mr Giuseppe Muscat, holder of Maltese identity card number 146889M, resigned from the office of executive director of the Company.
The Company thanks Mr Muscat for his contributions to the Company during his tenure. There are no other matters concerning Mr Giuseppe Muscat which require disclosure in terms of the Capital Markets Rules.
Mr Alogakos Stavros, holder of Greek identity card number AO066942 and residing at 57 Sotiros Dios str., Piraeus, Greece, has been appointed as an executive of the Company in his stead with effect from 22 May 2026. Mr Stavros also assumed the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company with effect from such date.
Mr. Stavros is a maritime professional with extensive experience in ship management, technical operations, and marine engineering. He currently serves as General Manager, Operations Manager, Designated Person Ashore, and Company Security Officer at DS Shipping Ltd, where he oversees fleet operations, regulatory compliance, chartering activities, and overall company management. Prior to this role, Stavros held various senior positions within DS Shipping, including Fleet Manager and Technical Superintendent, gaining significant expertise in vessel operations, technical management, drydock planning, and HSQE compliance.
Stavros holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens and has obtained several specialised certifications in maritime safety, security, hazardous materials management, and technical surveying. Before joining DS Shipping, he worked as Project Manager at Aegean Engineers Ltd and as a Port Agent with DASS Shipping, building extensive experience across technical, operational, and commercial aspects of the maritime industry.
